Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is teamed with a leader in the aerospace and defense markets.  Our client is seeking a talented Sr. HR Representative to support a variety of HR functions.

SCOPE OF EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 5+ years of staffing, recruiting and related HR experience.
• Experience with union labor relations and contract negotiations is a plus.
• Responsibilities include staffing and recruitment, workforce planning, performance and compliance management, employee relations, compensation analysis, and related HR initiatives. 
• Experienced with Affirmative Action and EEOC. 
• Will support recruiting for a variety of professional, technical, engineering, manufacturing and other skills and disciplines.
• Strong HR systems experience, including Taleo (a plus), and Global HR (GHR) or similar HR systems.
• Must be proficient with metrics and data management / systems management.  
• Assist with employment verifications and background checks, on-boarding, etc.
• Must maintain high degrees of confidentiality.
• Strong MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline is required. 

TRAINING:  Previous training in HR areas such as Labor Law, Staffing, Benefits and Compensation, is highly desired.
