BUSINESS ATTORNEY

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

JKZ is currently looking for a Business Attorney with a minimum of 3 years' experience providing legal advice on business matters including entity formation, company structure, policies, objectives and procedures, creation of partnership agreements, business contracts, buy-sell agreements, operating agreements, advice for ongoing business management and entity formation within California and outside. Ideally, with a strong tax background. The position requires superior analytical, communication, drafting, writing, and research skills. The Attorney is expected to be able to solely manage their case load.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a Business Attorney, Corporate Attorney or other similar positions

• Experience as solo practitioner or outside counsel advising on business matters

• Experience with entity formation and management in California and other states

• Experience managing a team preferred but not required

• Admission to the Bar in California

• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints to meet deadlines

• Understanding of California business law including business formations and contracts

• Ability to explain complex legal matters in simple terms
