Caregiver – Arcadia Senior Care (Eugene, Oregon)

Arcadia Senior Care is a warm, family-style Adult Foster Home in Eugene dedicated to providing exceptional, home-like care for our residents. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver who can provide both routine and high-level care, including safe mobility support and use of a Hoyer lift.

⭐ Your Role

As a caregiver at Arcadia Senior Care, you will provide:

Personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming

High-level care and full assistance for residents who need more support

Safe transfers and mobility assistance using a Hoyer lift

Repositioning, support with ADLs, and monitoring for safety

Medication administration

Meal preparation and light housekeeping

Companionship and emotional support

Clear communication and accurate documentation

You play a meaningful role in each resident’s daily life.

⭐ What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who is:

Kind, patient, dependable, and compassionate

Comfortable performing physical caregiving tasks

Able to lift, assist, and support residents safely

Willing and able to use mobility equipment, including Hoyer lifts (training provided)

A good communicator and respectful team member

Organized, calm, and attentive to detail

Experience is helpful, but we train caregivers with the right heart and work ethic.

⭐ Requirements

Ability to lift 50lbs and safely assist residents

Ability to perform repeated transfers and physical care tasks

CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Food Handler’s card

Ability to pass a background check

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
