Welder 2

Position Summary: Perform routine to moderately complex manual welding using standard processes and equipment on various types of stainless steels and aluminum metal alloys.

Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 5 AM to 4:30 PM (4/10s)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances per engineering specifications
• Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements
• Make adjustments, within procedural limits, to fine tune the process in order to achieve product conformance
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of weld callouts/WPS/PQR to ensure product quality and conformity
• Maintain a satisfactory level of performance while following appropriate procedures and observing all pertinent safety rules and requirements
• Document and log all parts as necessary and maintain all required paperwork in an accurate manner
• Maintain work area and equipment in an organized, clean and FOD-free manner
• Obtain and maintain all required qualifications and certifications in all appropriate metals
• Accurately inspect and process all work performed
• Perform basic set-up
• Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules
