    Job Description

    TWO-WAY RADIO PROGRAMMING/REPAIR TECHNICIAN 

    We have an immediate openings within our expanding Technical Department for a Programming/Repair Technician, located 25 miles south of Mpls / St. Paul, MN. A WC specializes in two-way radio repair and the installation and maintenance of complex communication systems, locally and nationally. Applicants should be honest, hardworking, motivated individuals.

    THE IDEAL MATCH

    • 2 -4 years of experience in programming, electronics troubleshooting • Knowledge of electronic circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware and software applications. • Some Soldering skills • Wireless communication experience (two way radio, cellular, pager, call boxes, etc.) • RF experience a plus • Must be willing to work occasionally after normal business hours for on-call tech support. • Ability to read technical documentation and schematics • Must be an innovative problem solver with solid successful experience. • Excellent communication skills • Must complete a pre-employment background investigation

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    •Program our proprietary system for Nurse Call and Retail Applications and many other products to customer's needs. •Make programming changes on a daily basis for customers •Demonstrate a high-level of customer service and professionalism. •Repair many products, ex. (call boxes, scrolling signs, corridor lights, etc.) •Manages assigned work to meet professional execution, on time and customer satisfaction. Ensures job completion documentation is •Ensures completed. profitable completion of each service request or task. •Interfaces with Service Team Lead and/or Project Manager on projects to coordinate activities as required in an ethical and professional manner.
