    BUSINESS MANAGER

    Responsible for the business management of their designated office. They will regularly be communicating with The Milford office to keep their office in sync.

    PEOPLE:

    • Coordination of training for the Office employees – working with the training manager at setting up training sessions, scheduling employees and locations for training sessions
    • Setting up regular lunch and learns with vendors
    • Scheduling and coordinating attendance at industry events – Tracking upcoming events, getting key people scheduled to attend events and tracking leads generated from the events.
    • Coordinate Best Places to work in Washington, DC effort
    • Onboarding of new employees in the Consigli DC office.
    • Works out of the front desk to meet and greet visitors

     

    EVENT PLANNING

    • Client and Subcontractor event planning –
    • Coordinate and plan client events
    • Coordinate and plan Open House
    • Coordinate other Events involving clients
    • Coordinating Holiday party
    • Coordinating employee events
    • Coordinate Community Service Efforts

     

    OFFICE MANAGEMENT

    • Landlord Relations
    • Handling Move Management of office
    • Soliciting competitive pricing from office supply and office service vendors
    • Printing/Copying
    • Office Cleaning
    • Approval of Overhead costs relating to office costs (electricity, heat, office supplies etc., UPS Costs)
    • Manage Video conference reservations and setup
    • Office furniture ordering
    • Order kitchen and office supplies
    • Coordinate with Building Security Desk the arrival of Consigli Guest
    • Coordinate with IT/Helpdesk when there’s internet issues or new installation of Equipment
    • Coordinate Consigli’s Contractor’s License in the DMV
    • Reconcile Director of Operations Amex Corporate Card.
    • Keeping office tidy
    • Holiday decorating

     

    PROJECTS

    • Scheduling end of project debriefings and mid project progress reviews.
    • Scheduling Project manager, superintendent and PEs to brainstorm projects at mid project status to determine what can be changed to improve project results
    • Scheduling, coordinating and recording results from project post-mortems on all projects – go through the “What was planned”, “what happened”, “account for Gap” and “Ideas for Improvement”
    • Marketing support to include keeping Washington, DC information up to date for Resumes, references, and project sheets.
    • Schedule cost meeting conference room when required
    • Update scheduling meeting schedule when required

    STAFFING:

    • Manage and Track Field Training and Certifications
    • Coordinate with recruiters interview schedules
    • Coordinate and ensure timely completion of reviews

    REGULAR MEETING INVOLVEMENT:

    • Monthly BD meetings
    • Monthly Staffing Meeting with Larry, Matt and Dave
    • Mid-project / Post Mortem meetings

     

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    • Client, project research
    • Manage updating CRM contact database (up to date emails, contact information and lists for DC contacts)
    • Coordinate Action items from Monthly BD meeting
    • Attendance and setting up trade shows / booths etc.
    • Track attendance at industry functions
    • Consential tracking

    HUMAN RESOURCE

    • Attending weekly check in meeting with Milford and other reginal offices
    • Request Flyers for upcoming company events
    • Request Fobs for new employees
    • Assist with housing for employees relocating to the DC office
    • Coordinate in office Flu Shot and insurance health testing
    • Coordinate health insurance meetings and questions

     

    ATTEND EVENTS – bring others as needed:

    • Local media relations

    • Work with Milford office to manage marketing communications – keep things moving forward

    • DMV Industry Events

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • A bachelor’s degree in business management or a relevant field with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience within business management
    • Proven success in business management or administration
    • Specialized experience in management skills such as leadership, planning and organization matters highly preferred
