Framatome is seeking PWR Field Service Representatives. In this role, the schedule is determined based on the business need with a minimum of 39 weeks or 1,560 hours scheduled annually. The position is full-time and is eligible for the full suite of benefits. PWR Reactor Services specializes in full scope refueling outage services which include, but is not limited to reactor disassembly/reassembly, fuel handling, under vessel activities, and critical lifts. Work is highly complex and procedurally driven, consisting primarily of tool handling and equipment operation inside containment, in/around the reactor cavity and spent fuel pool.
Under very broad supervision, this position is responsible for executing, supervising, or coordinating routine to very complex installation, repair, preventative maintenance and testing of tools and equipment at customer sites. Relies on expert experience/judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Frequently directs less experienced staff in the field and provides input regarding performance. Position will be required to perform tasks in radioactive conditions and may be required to work around corrosive chemicals, both requiring the appropriate personal protective equipment to be donned.

TRAVEL: Seasonal (35-75%) domestic and international travel. Potential international travel; office environment will be for training purposes.

This job operates in a showroom and office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including continuously walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, kneeling, stooping, crawling, climbing, grasping/griping; and frequently lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
