Description

Responsible for the upkeep, monitoring of scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance needs for all refrigeration and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Inspect, repair, and or replace compressors, condensers, fans, belts, hoses, relays, motors, pumps, filters, other tasks as assigned.

Responsible to ensure all equipment is kept in good running and operating conditions at all times.

Maintain logs and records of all Freon use and recovery.

Respond quickly to all work orders for any unacceptable conditions found or as directed by your supervisor.

Maintain sufficient spare parts as necessary to ensure little or no downtime of equipment. Keep inventory organized and tools in a good state of readiness.

Keep Supervisors informed of all adverse conditions and your plan of action for correction. Enter repair details information in the appropriate preventive maintenance program parameters.

Requirement

CFC Refrigerant recovery certification Type ll and Type lll or Universal.
