    Full Time Position

     

     

    Our client is looking for an IT Security Specialist that can assist in securely adding manufacturing devices, sensors, processors, and equipment to the IT environment.

     

    You should have experience in Manufacturing or similar industry where you have setup and configured devices to be securely added to the network and IT environment.

     

    This position will be responsible for the Americas region including numerous Manufacturing plants and over 5,000 devices.

     

    The primary responsibility of this position is the support of intrusions attempts and ensure compliance of OT security policies

    Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Planning and implementation of security systems as well as network-infrastructure with a focus on operational technology (OT), e.g. Firewalls or network segmentation
    • Permanent coordination with regional plants, OT relevant departments and departments of the OT-Organization.
    • Continuous screening of country-specific restrictions and legal requirements and mapping to the existing OT landscape
    • Analysis and risk evaluation of OT-networks and OT-systems. Ensure the awareness for the necessary security controls according to the risk evaluation and ensure the implementation in alignment with the locations and key users.
    • Conception and implementation of OT trainings and awareness measures
    • Collaboration and further development of our KPI based reporting and asset management system (ServiceNow) regarding the current safety situation of OT environment
    • Preparation for regional IT/OT audits of security measures and processes as well as derivation of measures for continuous improvement
    • First contact and support of the OT Security organization and in case of an incident in the designated region
    • Recognize possible threats and review evaluations for compliance and non-compliance
    • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits
    • Create and maintain OT security related KPIs
    • Provides support in security management and security architect standards

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS / BA degree in computer science or a technical discipline or alternatively a similar relevant qualification
    • Minimum of 3 solid years of manufacturing security experience: Anti-virus, phishing, malware, firewall, router, DNS, DMZ, VPN
    • Basic experience with common IT security tools as well as knowledge of the essential IT security standards of the IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST
    • Structured working method, analytical thinking and ability to work in a team combined with persuasiveness and high communication skills
