Data Analyst / SQL Developer

Charlotte, NC or Winston-Salem, NC

6 Month Contract

You should have a mixed skill set of Data Analysis and SQL Development / ETL (Back End).

You will be expected to pull and analyze data.  Health care experience is a plus (Claims, Clinical Data, etc.)

• Advanced knowledge of SQL functions, SQL coding language, and stored procedures
• Advanced knowledge at achieving highly optimized queries, indexes, and data processing performance, in heavy volume, heavy traffic database environment
• Experience with source to target mapping development, support, and maintenance with both internal, external, and third party vendor data feeds
• Experience with developing and executing ETL test plans
• Strong problem-solving and metadata skills
• Ability to transfer knowledge
• Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Informatica, SSIS, and other ETL tools
• Experience with architecting, developing data extraction, transformation, and load programs in an enterprise data warehouse
• Skilled in promoting ETL objects from development to production environments using change management processes
• Ability to automate the ETL process through scheduling and exception-handling routines
• Resource will interface and collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to accomplish goals and ensure business needs are met
