SQL Developer - Permanent Position

This job will require SQL development with integration into clients enterprise software.

Other software knowledge is a plus, Oracle, SAP/Hana, ETL, Cubes etc.

Our Client is seeking experienced SQL database developers who have a logical mind-set and can demonstrate initiative and determination. They must also have the ability to self-start and to take problems from diagnosis through to successful resolution.

The candidate will be performing database, system and software engineering tasks required to maintain and improve an award winning suite of applications. They will report directly to and be supported by the Technical Principals leading the technical delivery team.

Preferred Experience:

Ideal candidates will have some or all of the following:

• 2+ years experience working in industry developing database code
• 2+ years experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Suite
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of core relational database principals
• Exposure to and understanding of ETL processes
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, T-SQL or a comparable high-level programming language
• Familiarity with version control principles and team methods of software development (e.g., agile)
• Exposure Microsoft Visual Studio.
