Director, Security and Access Control, Real Estate, Property Management

One of Charlotte's most prestigious Real Estate Development and Property Management firms has created a new position.

This involves all three aspects of the real estate industry, from Development to Construction to Property Management.

To qualify for this role, you should have a strong background in all areas, and then particularly in the on going Security and Access Control portion of the position.

Specifically around Access Controls, Low Voltage Wiring and all aspects of securing a large Apartment Property Community.

This includes conducting property risk assessments, designing and installing security systems, and managing in-house technicians. The Director of Security and Access Control will coordinate with site contacts, managing technicians, liaising with vendors, and overseeing administrative tasks related to billing and vendor setup.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• 5 years’ experience in Access Control and/or project management.

• Expertise in design and blueprint review for access control and camera systems

• Experience in using security systems and software.

• Knowledge of security regulations and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical door hardware and low voltage wiring.
