    We are looking for a full-time Systems Engineer who loves solving problems, is patient with people, and is eager to learn.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    As a member of the Jones IT Family, you will take on a wide variety of tasks and projects, often involving client interactions.

    • You will serve as the primary point of support for all client server/network/infrastructure/related issues.
    • You will partner with internal consultant teams and onsite resources to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues.
    • You will diagnose and resolve systems problems related to functionality, connectivity, management & monitoring, or other software/hardware problems.
    • You will monitor uptime for clients and be able to mobilize quickly during emergencies, even on nights & weekends.
    • You will receive ticket collaboration requests from your assigned Consulting Team, Team Leaders, and Directors. Communication with consultants, team leaders, and clients.
    • You will review tickets and notes to ensure things are being handled in the Jones IT way.
    • You will delegate tasks when appropriate and balance team member workloads.
    • You will document procedures and solutions in detail.
    • You will partner with all members of the Jones IT Team to proactively collect and share experiences/tools/information that will aid in maximizing the value of efficiency and teamwork for our company and all of our clients.

    • You push beyond your limits to solve the toughest problems where no solutions exist; you demonstrate confidence with systems and security.
    • You are an all-star consultant & project leader. Experience supportingsystems of 100 or more users.
    • You are driven to continuously learn, curious about taking technology beyond the limits, and passionate about teaching others and sharing knowledge.
    • You take ownership, are able to discover emergency issues (even on nights & weekends), mobilize resources, & find solutions while keeping calm under pressure.
    • You are a self-starter, works smarter (not harder), and is efficient at time management.
    • You are detailed documentation focused and a master in the art of analogy to describe complicated technology to customers and teammates.
    • You have a proven track record of working well in team environments.

    Education/Experience Nice-to-haves (Optional):

    • 4+ years of experience or equivalent
    • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
    • Experience with managing and deploying MDM solutions (Kandji, JAMF, Hexnode, InTune, etc)
    • Experience with mass deployment of security products in regards to email security and systems security.
    • Experience supporting and deploying Idp platforms (Okta, OneLogin, AzureAD, etc)
    • Experience with deploying and managing Identity and Access Management (MFA, SSO, Password Management, etc)
    • Proven record of handling or being involved in complex systems rollout projects across organization
    • Project Management experience with working with external vendors to collect quotes and provide recommendations to clients.
    • Cloud computing knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP)
    • IT Compliance proficiency (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO, etc)
    • CompTIA Security+ completed (or equivalent)
