Herbal Pharmacy Filler needed for small office to mix herbal powders into formulas for patient formulas. Join ranks of a Chinese medicine clinic that dispenses all natural Chinese herbal formulas that are custom made for each person's unique problem. Herbs are made of concentrated powder that get mixed together in specific proportions mixed with other herbs in specific proportions and put into a bottle or made into a capsule. We need someone who can be precise, who is capable of independent work and learn the different individual and herbal formulas. Help mixing herbal prescriptions in a Chinese medicine acupuncture office. Duties include Mixing herbs in the right proportion to make herbal powders. Encapsulating herbs in some cases when patients need capsule. Keeping areas clean after working. Keeping herbs organized alphabetically. Ticking off stock as it is used up and reorder forms marked for herbs needed. Preparing labels for patients to affix to bottles. Starting hours are 4 hours of training and 5-6 hours a week. If more hours are available will expand the hours. Pay is $16 an hour. -We will train you on everything. -You will be trained on identifying the herbs. -How to differentiate similar sounding names of herbs. -How to fill formulas. -How to use the encapsulate machine -How to keep inventory and flag needed items on the ordering forms. Cleaning up after filling. Qualities needed: -Punctual -Detail oriented -Responsible Able to work independently but ask for help if needed. 1 month trial period before permanent hire.
