    Job Summary

    The Living Room Outreach Coordinator (OC) is responsible for cultivating external relationships, including grassroots outreach and strategic relationship management, to drive awareness of, and increased usage of Josselyn's Living Room. The OC will work closely with both the Mission Advancement and Living Room teams to identify and build partnerships and relationships with organizations who can both promote use of The Living Room and refer guests to this service. The OC must be an energetic individual with initiative, imagination, tenacity and interpersonal skills, plus have knowledge of peer support and its benefits.

    Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

    • Identifies, builds, and sustains relationships with referral partners in Josselyn's service area such as hospital emergency departments, police and fire departments, townships, community support agencies, FQHC's and other referral partners.
    • Initiate communications between referral partners, with frequent visits and presentations to staff.
    • Work closely with Living Room staff in order to expertly represent this program and obtain data regarding referral sources.
    • Manages data and reporting on community engagement, outreach activities, presentations, tabling, and relationship development.
    • Oversees the dissemination of organizational marketing materials, in both English and Spanish, with community partners and at outreach events.
    • Participate in both Mission Advancement and Living Room team meetings and events.

    Qualifications ** __**

    • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    • Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization is preferred.
    • Proven success in developing relationships with funders/donors.
    • Knowledge of community development issues and experience working in diverse communities.
    • Knowledge of, and appreciation of Peer Support Specialists and The Living Room model.
    • Excellent skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Multilingual and CRSS is a plus.
