Sales and Marketing Intern JouleSmart Solutions - Tualatin, OR $12 an hour - Full-time, Internship Seeking a dynamic and skilled marketing intern ready to support JouleSmart Solutions near-term growth strategy. We are looking for an energetic, creative and driven individual ready to take on this challenge in collaboration with a fun, positive and driven team of professionals. The candidate will gain significant on the job experience in an exciting industry. The position may continue past the summer through either part or full time employment. The role will include the following: * Supporting development and implementation of regional advertising and social media strategies in our key markets of New York, California and Connecticut. * Building data base of key partners * Coordinating events * Supporting development of metrics for measuring success of strategies such as: * Campaigns * Events * Digital marketing * Conducting customer, brand and product research initiatives

• Working collaboratively within the organization to develop marketing materials and programs. * Supporting development and analysis of success metrics (largely embedded within Salesforce) for the above initiatives. Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: * Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree; marketing majors preferred. * Willingness to collaborate with others on sales and marketing team in an entrepreneurial environment. Team will work together to: * Co-develop strategy * Share approaches and successes * Plan local events and outreach * Familiarity with Salesforce desirable. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Exceptional writing skills. * Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to expand thinking on branding and partner development. * Hardworking, persistent, and dependable. * Positive and enthusiastic. Some flexibility in work schedule is helpful. Reverse commuters are welcome, and we can accommodate with some remote work flexibility.
