Are you an experienced Journeyman Carpenter in the construction industry who is eager to thrive in a respected and dynamic organization? Do you have a passion and experience building high-end custom homes? Louis Ptak Construction has won several jobs in the San Francisco area and is seeking several Journeyman Carpenters for our Subcontracting team with jobs sites from Palo Alto, San Francisco to Healdsburg.

What you get to own:

• Perform high-quality carpentry installations, including framing, millwork (casing, baseboard, crown molding, wall, and ceiling paneling), doors, windows, siding, cabinets, and stairs.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, sketches, RFI's, and Submittals.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and project deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site carpentry issues.
• Mentor and develop junior carpenters and apprentices

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years of finish carpentry experience
• 5+ years of high-end residential experience (must be able to provide 3 references)
• Have a full complement of tools, including specialty tools for division 6.
• Great attention to detail
• Shows a strong work ethic
• Committed to Safety
