    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician Foreman to lead electrical crews on commercial, industrial, or residential job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical systems and proven leadership abilities to manage teams, coordinate project schedules, and ensure quality and safety compliance on all installations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on job sites.

    Plan, layout, and install electrical systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and NEC/local codes.

    Coordinate daily job site activities, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and safety.

    Communicate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to resolve issues and meet deadlines.

    Perform hands-on electrical work including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.

    Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

    Conduct safety meetings and enforce company and OSHA safety standards.

    Manage materials and tools on site, reducing waste and minimizing downtime.

    Assist with project planning, material ordering, and job costing.

    Train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians.

    Qualifications:

    Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific).

    Minimum 5–7 years of electrical experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.

    Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

    Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    Proficient in using hand and power tools, testing equipment, and safety gear.

    Ability to work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces).

    Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and workflow management.

    Preferred Certifications:

    OSHA 30

    CPR/First Aid

    NFPA 70E Training

    Leadership or Construction Management Training
