  • Responsibilities

    Bring your electrical experience to ongoing, on-site assignments serving commercial facilities and data centers, with installation or maintenance responsibilities determined by the department. Full-Time W-2 opportunities span journeyman levels I–IV and electrical foreman positions, with benefits available. The regular workday runs from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and travel is not required.

    What you will do

    • Review drawings, sketches, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications to select installation methods and establish task order for electrical fixtures, AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC-linked equipment, transformers, and switches.
    • Install, service, and repair electrical controls and distribution hardware, including motors, thermostats, relays, switches, and circuit-breaker panels. Measure and cut wire and conduit, then bend each to the required shape.
    • Use manual and powered tools, gauges, and measurement instruments to carry out installations and maintenance tasks.
    • Examine and test system components such as switchgear, transformers, and transfer switches. Diagnose electrical faults and propose workable corrective actions.
    • Request necessary materials, equipment, and tools while keeping inventory information complete and accurate.
    • Keep management informed about progress, problems, and recommended actions. Prepare timely records describing the work completed.
    • Observe established safety procedures, report potential dangers and operational risks, and use assigned vehicles and equipment safely.

    What you bring

    • At least four years working in the electrical trade; experience in commercial settings or data centers is an advantage.
    • Previous installation or maintenance work, with hands-on experience fitting, servicing, and diagnosing faults in electrical systems, control equipment, and distribution hardware.
    • Ability to interpret technical specifications, sketches, project plans, and wiring diagrams.
    • Licensure at the journeyman or master electrician level is desirable, but applicants are not required to hold it.
    • Demonstrated field leadership experience for consideration at the foreman level.
    • Ability to successfully complete background screening and drug testing before beginning work.

    Pay: $35 to $55 per hour
