  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national codes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and ensuring safe, efficient electrical operations in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.

    Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

    Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.

    Diagnose malfunctioning systems, locate the cause of breakdowns, and correct problems.

    Ensure all work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety regulations.

    Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

    Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.

    Supervise and mentor apprentices and ensure work quality and safety.

    Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work environment.

    Collaborate with general contractors, other trades, and clients as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific).

    High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified apprenticeship program.

    Minimum 4-5 years of electrical experience (post-apprenticeship).

    Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and NEC requirements.

    Proficient with hand and power tools, test equipment, and safety procedures.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

    Preferred Skills :

    Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential construction. Minimum 5 years.

    Familiarity with building automation systems, generators, and systems.

    OSHA 10/30 certification.

    Experience leading small crews or supervising apprentice
