Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician with a strong background in chiller systems (air-cooled and/or water-cooled) to support commercial and mission-critical facilities in the Denver area. This role focuses on service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-tonnage equipment across a variety of environments including data centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform startup, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
• Service cooling towers, pumps, and associated hydronic systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and sequence of operations
• Work with BAS/controls systems for monitoring and diagnostics
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols
• Communicate with customers regarding system performance and recommendations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
• Strong experience working on chiller systems (air-cooled and/or water-cooled)
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components, motors, VFDs, and controls
• Experience with cooling towers, hydronic systems, and pumps
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
