    About the Opportunity

    Vector Talent Solutions is conducting a search for experienced Journeyman Inside Wiremen to support a large-scale electrical construction project in Southern New Mexico.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking skilled Journeyman Inside Wiremen with experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing commercial or industrial electrical systems. This opportunity is ideal for experienced electricians who are comfortable working in an active construction environment and can perform electrical work safely and efficiently while meeting applicable codes, specifications, and project requirements.

    This is a union opportunity operating under an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Candidates who are not currently union members will be required to join the IBEW upon hire.

    Responsibilities

    • Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution systems, equipment, and controls
    • Perform electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and applicable regulations
    • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and specifications
    • Install conduit systems, cable tray, underground raceways, and conductors
    • Install and support transformers, switchgear, panelboards, motor controls, lighting systems, and related electrical equipment
    • Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities using appropriate testing instruments and equipment
    • Lead and mentor apprentice electricians through on-the-job training
    • Follow established safety procedures and project requirements

    Qualifications

    • New Mexico Journeyman Wireman certification, state electrical license, or equivalent qualification where required
    • Experience performing journeyman-level commercial or industrial electrical work
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications
    • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
    • Current OSHA 10 certification
    • Ability to legally work in the United States
    • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment drug testing
