About the Role:

Join FM Steel Construction as a Journeyman Ironworker, where you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the skyline of Arizona. We are seeking skilled professionals who are eager to contribute to high-quality steel construction projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Erecting steel structures and frameworks according to blueprints.

Perform layout and installation of steel beams, columns, and trusses.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on job sites.

Use hand tools and power tools to cut and shape steel materials.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

Conduct inspections and maintenance of steel structures as needed.

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and junior ironworkers.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Ironworker.

Valid OSHA 10 certification.

Ability to pass a 3G, 4G stick welding test.

Ability to pass a 3G, 4G NR232 Fluxcore Wire test.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Excellent physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
