Job Summary:

We are looking for a Journeyman Laborer to join our team! In this role, you will perform residential and commercial construction work that may include pipe fitting, insulating, welding, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, repairing buildings, floors, or stairs, and installing new equipment.

You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred, and a positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

Inspect, replace, and fix light fixtures/outlets, toilets, door handles/hinges, bathroom accessories, and cabinet pulls.

Perform routine maintenance

Diagnose problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary

Repair drywall patches, sanding, painting, and knowledgeable of framing codes.

Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a handyman / general maintenance

Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry.

Must have your own tools and vehicle.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Must be qualified to perform at heights above thirty (30) feet with the use of a ladder and lift.

Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a consistent basis
