JR Car Service is a non-emergency medical transport company. We are located in Farmingdale, N.Y. and drivers must come here each day to clock in and pick up the keys to our car along with our cell phone that contains your daily schedule. We drive patients in our vehicles from their home to hospitals, doctor offices, clinics or other medical facilities. We cannot assist the clients with getting in or out of our vehicles. Once we drop the clients off, we head off to pick up and drop off other clients throughout the day

We have 3 shifts you can work. (as many as 10 or 12 hours per day) if you want that many hours.

3:30am to 12 noon, or 3:30am until 2:00pm 6:00am to 5:00 pm or 6:00pm We also have a shift with less hours from 12:00pm until 8pm at night! We can offer Saturdays if interested but we are closed on Sundays.

For Nassau County licensing to become a Taxi and Limousine licensed driver... You will need a NY State D.M.V. license Class E (or higher just not a D) that you must get from the DMV

You need a current NY State Defensive Driving Certificate NY State 6 hour course which you can take online

You must have a clean driver’s license and provide us with a current D.M.V. Abstract

You must have a social security card or passport

You are required to complete the following:

1. An application for Nassau County TLC license (Taxi and Limousine Commission) $100.00
2. You need to complete fingerprinting at the location we send you to. This is $88.50

3.You must go for drug screening This is $32.00. This is completed at LabCorp! ALL TESTING AND DOCUMENTS FOR THIS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU DURING YOUR INTERVIEW

IF YOU BRING US BACK THESE RECEIPTS TOTALING $220.50. WE WILL REIMBURSE YOU AFTER 30 DAYS AS LONG AS YOU ARE STILL EMPLOYED WITH OUR COMPANY

We pay $15.00 per hour and $22.50 for overtime after 40 hours. Our average driver works 50 hours per week and is paid around $825.00 before taxes or around $41,000 annually
