    Job Description

    Joyal Capital Management, LLC (www.joycapmgt.com| www.jcmfranchise.com) is a financial advisory firm founded in 1989 and based in Plymouth, MA. Joyal serves over 600 clients and has over $9 billion in Assets Under Management. Services offered range from Estate Planning to Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking, Business Planning and Tax Planning.

    We are seeking to add to our Franchise Development and Finance team. Reporting directly to the Director of Franchise Development and JCM executives the incumbent will be responsible for:

    • Organizing and reviewing due diligence materials for both presentation to internal firm executives and external financial institutions and potential buyers.
    • Participating in group calls, meetings and presentations with the ability to interpret, preserve and disseminate accurate and timely updates to the firm executives.
    • Supporting the Director and firm executives by being proactive and utilizing strategic thinking and problem solving.
    • Acting as a secondary contact for potential buyers. Pre-screening candidates and coordinating the flow of information from initial bid offer through the final transaction close.
    • Maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
    • Independent industry research.

    Specific duties include:

    • The analysis and review of lease agreements, franchise agreements, tax returns, financial statements, loan documents, third party appraisals, property conditions assessments, surveys and environmental reports.
    • Create, organize and maintain JCM secured online data room platform for clients, advisors, financial institutions and potential buyers.
    • Learn sales reporting systems to populate weekly, monthly and annual reports for clients.
    • Utilize Constant Contact to release firm announcements specific to upcoming opportunities, completed transactions and relevant industry news.
    • Coordinate with other team member to ensure social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube are current with the latest JCM announcements.
    • Coordinate M&A and loan closings with all interested parties.
    • Communicate business and legal requirements to borrower.
    • Coordinate drafting of documents.
    • Assist in post-closing documentation and tracking.
    • Assist in scheduling of deal flow and pipeline opportunities in regards to conference calls, meetings and travel.
    • Miscellaneous day to day requirements as delegated by Director.

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:

    • Prepare M&A and commercial real estate sales offering materials by coordinating with clients and internal departments to collect and synthesize network and market information.
    • Capacity for clear, concise written presentation of client business plans and capital requirements.
    • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership and staff within the organization and outside advisors.
    • Ability to work autonomously, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and remain flexible and adaptable.
    • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail, specially relating to the review of pertinent due diligence materials.
