Your role (Junior Commercial Associate)
Reporting directly to Financial Advisors, the Junior Commercial Associate is in charge of supporting the commercial activities of Financial Advisors as well as interacting directly with clients during the FAs’ absences.
This role embraces the following duties and responsibilities:
· Interacting with designated clients under the guidance of the FAs.
· Supporting the FAs on trade execution (bonds, equities, derivatives, structured products, foreign exchange) in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
· Preparing documents related to establishing and maintaining client relationships.
Collecting and organizing clients’ background information for KYC purposes and preparing Compliance forms.
Monitoring investment recommendations to ensure timeliness and suitability.
Preparing investment proposals for existing and prospective clients.
Obtaining and organizing information on securities and other investment products.
Operating a data-aggregation and reporting system for producing client statements and analytical reports.
Your team
You will be working with a financial advisor that services clients in South America and the US.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Solid Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel.
Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.
Series 65 required or obtain within 180 days from start date.
At least 3 years of experience in client service, within the finance sector.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
Professional experience in a similar role (private banking or broker-dealer industry) is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Full understanding of financial markets.
Excellent sense of priorities, strong organizational skills, meticulous.
Solid Microsoft Office capabilities, in particular Excel.
Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce and Addepar are a plus.
