Job Title: Junior Database Administrator (Healthcare Data Analyst)

Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (Onsite – Local candidates only) Duration: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator / Healthcare Data Analyst to support data integrity, validation, and auditing within a public health environment. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy and completeness of clinical and billing data within EHR systems, particularly Mylnsight !

Key Responsibilities

Data Validation & Correction

Utilize SQL queries and reporting tools to identify and correct data entry errors.

Perform routine audits on benefit assignments, insurance relationships, and patient checkout status.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of front desk and patient-related data

Clinical Data Integrity

Analyze clinical and service records for completeness and compliance with billing standards.

Identify and resolve issues such as:

Missing office/lab visit records

Incorrect or missing E/M codes

Missing diagnosis mappings

Uncaptured vaccination administration fees

Incorrect service entry points or event mapping

Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry workflows.

Duplicate Record Management

Identify, merge, and cleanse duplicate patient records.

Maintain data consistency across EHR systems to support accurate reporting and billing.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience with EHR systems (preferably Mylnsight or similar).

Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting.

Experience with healthcare data validation, auditing, and cleanup.

Familiarity with healthcare billing and insurance processes (Medicaid, Medicare, Private).

Understanding of ICD/CPT coding and E/M documentation standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a public health or clinical environment.

Prior experience working with Mylnsight (Netsmart) or similar EHR platforms.
