QUALITY INSPECTOR:
Primary tasks will be associated with the inspection standards, techniques to examine, question, and report results in accordance with company requirements. Responsible for the inspection of a variety of parts by using a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the quality of machined parts. Maintain focus on timeliness, execution of tasks, and deliverables every day. Support the company strategy by holding ourselves accountable for getting the work done.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs inspections as scheduled, ensuring the quality of workmanship meets customer & industry standards
Perform preliminary, in-progress and final inspections on all articles processed
Review MFG records, work order reports and forms for completeness and accuracy prior to releasing the parts
Inspect for defects and damage, proper identification, and dimensions using measuring devices
Follow and document complex processes, input data and inspection results
Be familiar with inspection methods, techniques and equipment used in their specialty to determine quality
Communicate effectively, in both written & verbal formats, with management and production personnel to convey product acceptance criteria and inspection results
Perform receiving inspection duties as needed for all incoming material
Continuously practice safety behavior and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness/prevention
Work collaboratively to achieve goals and/or complete assigned tasks within the Quality Control team as well as collaborating with other departments to maintain high quality standards.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field, may include, but not limited to; aerospace parts & components and hands‐on experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or repair and overhaul.
Knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant aerospace industry standards and regulations would be highly preferred
In depth understanding of the inspection techniques and quality issues associated with manufacturing
Specific vision abilities (corrected or uncorrected) to include color perception, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to be able to detect even the smallest of flaws or defects in parts
Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
Demonstrated ability to use computer applications to follow mfg work instructions
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and/or models on paper or digital

COMPENSATION: Pay range: Jr. Inspector, Quality /Level 1: $21.00 - $26.00/hour Jr. Inspector, Quality /Level 2: $27.00 - $30.00+/hour *Potential discretionary bonuses **Six (6) paid holidays
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
