Responsibilities: • Proactively solicit new residential mortgage business by taking qualified, live inbound calls from company-generated marketing leads. • Develop and maintain a network of relationships to source new mortgage loan business in the purchase and refinance markets. • Meet established loan quality and production goals. • Build rapport with existing and potential borrowers to meet customer needs and exceed expectations. • Analyze customers' financial situations and advise on appropriate loan products. • Perform lock extensions, pipeline management, and appraisal orders, among other daily duties. • Excel in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and following up with multiple customers and files daily. • Lock loans at the point of sale and request initial documents from customers. • Submit an initial, paperless loan package to production staff. • Collect and analyze customer documentation for submission to underwriters for pre-qualification of purchase clients. • Structure and price loans accurately. Qualifications: • Possess the intention to complete a training program to obtain NMLS/ MLO/ state license. • Superb relationship, sales, communication, and MS Office skills are needed. • Current product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan programs. • Some college (Bachelor’s) is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required. • Experience in real estate, lending institutions, credit unions, financial services, or related fields is desired, but not required. • 0-1 years' experience as a Loan Processor, Jr. Processor, Loan Setup Clerk, Loan Officer Assistant, Sales, or equivalent. Compensation: $45,000
