    Junior Loan Officer Opportunity Our lending team is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Junior Loan Officer who wants to learn the business the right way while earning rewarding commissions. This is a solid starting point for someone who wants hands-on experience, exposure to real loan files, and the chance to learn directly from senior loan officers while building skills that lead to originating loans over time. You will support active loan activity, help prepare and organize files, and learn how deals move from first conversation to closing. The focus is on learning through real work, clear guidance, and repetition, so you can build confidence and understand how lending works in practice, not just in theory. First year earning potential when hitting goals: $100,000+ Previous mortgage or lending experience is helpful but not required. What matters most is a willingness to learn, strong communication, and the ability to stay organized while learning loan products, systems, and compliance. You must be open to obtaining an NMLS license as part of your long-term growth. Responsibilities: • Meet sales expectations, generate new business, get referrals, and monitor sales pipeline • Review options with senior loan officer/ MLO to make a recommendation of which home loan product to recommend based on the applicant’s financial status • Consult with potential loan applicants - answer questions and provide additional information about home loan products to create personal relationships • Collect financial information in order to prepare the loan file, assist applicants with loan applications, and assess applicants’ financial situation and eligibility • Collaborate with the mortgage lender or mortgage banker, underwriter, loan processor, senior MLO / mortgage loan originator, and realtors on behalf of the applicant as needed to make sure the loan transaction goes through successfully Qualifications: • Must be willing to complete training program to obtain NMLS/ MLO/ state license • Exceptional communications, sales, relationship, and MS Office skills are necessary • Some college (Bachelor’s) is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required • Past experience with credit unions, lending institutions, real estate, financial services, or related fields is a bonus, but not required • Knowledge of guidelines for loan programs and various types of loans such as FHA, commercial loans, VA, etc is an asset, but not required • LMNS license required • Commission opportunity Compensation: $100,000 at plan commissions
