About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a Jr. Preschool Teacher for our 2-3 year old classroom! This exciting opportunity allows you to nurture young minds and foster a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.

Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.

Engage with children throughout the day making strong, positive connections

Facilitate the Goddard School proprietary curriculum Wonder of Learning

Observe and assess children's developmental milestones and needs.

Assist children with potty training, basic care needs

Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

Must have a passion for working with young children and their families.

Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Creative, energetic, and patient demeanor.

Background check clearance required.
