Our client is a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm looking to increase its talented ranks of attorneys by adding an attorney with a demonstrated interest in Land Use, Zoning, and Environmental law.

Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in New York, and demonstrate a keen interest in Land Use.

While experience in related areas such as Real Estate, Zoning, and Environmental law is preferred, we welcome law clerks who are pending admission to the bar, newly admitted associates or entry-level associates with a strong passion for Land Use.

The candidate will be expected to display influential decision-making and communication skills as you will be expected to navigate the clients through the entire process of getting proper permits to satisfy all regulations and requirements. Top candidates will be accomplished networkers who have remarkable interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• An interest in Land Use and related areas of law such as Real Estate, Zoning, Environmental, etc.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, work independently with limited oversight and prioritize work tasks in an effective manner.
• Proven ability to creatively accomplish organization goals while assessing and managing legal risk.
• Collaborative with a can-do attitude balanced with the ability to gracefully communicate difficult messages.
• Comfortable working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management and all colleagues at other departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• 0-2 Years Experience

COMENSATION:

$95-$110k
