    FHN Financial Senior Operation’s Manager

    JOB LOCATION:

    Memphis, TN (will help with relocation)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    FHN Financial is looking for a highly experienced manager for its Fixed Income and Derivatives Operations. FHN Financial’s primary focus is to be the world’s finest fixed income distribution company for institutional investors.

    • This person will assist the Head of Operations with day-to-day operation of the fixed income and derivatives operations.
    • The successful candidate would work closely with sales and compliance to ensure the accounts meet Compliance standards.
    • The person will be a key contact for the back-office vendors and coordinates changes and enhancements with the operations management team.
    • The person will be responsible for overseeing the creation and metrics used to manage the operations department.
    • The person will provide leadership and guidance to the meet the firms goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    The successful candidate must possess strong written communication skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate:

    • Strong fixed income operations experience required.
    • Interest Derivatives Operations experience preferred.
    • 10 years of management back-ground
    • Collaborates effectively within a Team setting.
    • Has a customer first attitude and delivery.
    • Can demonstrate research and problem-solving skills; And show critical thinking abilities to identify and escalate issues.
    • Is highly organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate ability to prioritize work.
    • Has proven ability analyze large sets of data in a timely manner.
    • Has had experience with Performance and Risk concepts.
    • Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills required.
    • Should have bachelor's in business related field or equivalent experience.
    • Previous financial services or operational experience a plus, but not required.
    • Licensing: FINRA Series 99 required with the FINRA Series 7/Series 24 preferred. If any of these designations are not held, they would be expected within 180 days of hire.

    COMPENSATION:

    $125,000
