    We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm and looking to increase to its talented ranks of litigators by adding an Associate Attorney with a demonstrated interest and experience of 15+ years in Corporate Transactions.

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The successful candidate must have experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, commercial sales, evaluation of vendor agreements, etc. The candidate must be comfortable providing advice and negotiation support to clients regarding contractual provisions, compliance, risk mitigation, and assessment. They must be able to think critically and on their feet; MUST have demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate concisely and persuasively; be personable and frequently meet with and interact with clients. They must have a strong work ethic and be a true team player who is genuinely interested in working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

    • Licensed to practice law in New York with15+ years’ experience with Corporate Transactions.
    • Ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Experience in Transactional Law.
    • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, work independently with limited oversight, and effectively prioritize work tasks.
    • Proven ability to creatively accomplish organization goals while assessing and managing legal risk.
    • Collaborative with a can-do attitude balanced with the ability to communicate difficult messages gracefully.
    • Comfortable working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management and all colleagues at other departments in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite

    SCHEDULE:

    Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
    On-Site

    COMPENSATION:

    $250,000 - $400,000/year
