    JUDSON SENIOR LIVING in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER. Currently hiring for a FULL TIME position with our Judson Park retirement community located in historic Cleveland Heights.

    WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE WITH JUDSON?

    As the CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER, supporting the Judson mission will include the following responsibilities:

    • Direct and manage staff: select, hire, train, coach, counsel monitor and assure performance and morale. Evaluate department roles and structure to assure efficiency and effectiveness and provide professional growth opportunities where possible.
    • Develop, implement and maintain information technology systems to support operations. Oversee and manage MatrixCare or any later acquired electronic records software/enterprise resource planning system. Assure the security of all data.
    • Work closely with the President and Chief Financial Officer to provide leadership to the strategic planning process.
    • Develop information technology plans to support the implementation of the Network's strategic plan.
    • Assure the security and back-up of all technology information systems.
    • Develop and implement information technology policies, guidelines, and procedures.
    • Manage help-desk support on all hardware or software issues for all users.
    • Oversee the procurement and installation of all hardware and software. Identify vendors/consultants and oversee the selection process.
    • Arrange for Information Technology training for the Network staff, as required.
    • Manage all telecommunications: cell phones, land lines etc.
    • Oversee the purchase and maintenance of related office technology: fax machines, copiers, printers.
    • Oversee the administration of LAN/WAN networks.
    • Provide cost effective resident services (phones, cable television, high speed internet) that can serve as a revenue generator.
    • Provide resident information technology support services.
    • Maintain current knowledge in the field. Analyze and determine the applicability of emergent technologies. Participate in various trade and professional organizations.
    • Monitor hotline, conduct risk assessments and develop annual compliance work plan. Remain abreast of status of compliance activities and identify trends.
    • Assists with Cyber Security, prevention and updates as needed.
    • Collaborates with other departments (e.g., human resources, clinical, finance) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
    • Ensures proper reporting of violations or potential violations to authorized agencies as appropriate or required.
    • Provide the people we serve with clear opportunities to direct their own lives and decide how they will spend their day.
    • Ensure a safe environment for residents and utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner
    • Report all hazardous conditions including incidents, injuries, and equipment to the appropriate Supervisor immediately
    • Participate on Executive Board in Board Meetings as assigned.
    • Adapt to changes in responsibilities in a positive manner, be receptive to new ways of completing tasks, and be flexible in carrying out assignments.

    WHAT DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE WITH JUDSON?

    • Bachelor's degree or appropriate certification in IT Networking required.
    • Minimum five (5) years of Information Technology experience in a service organization required.
    • Supervisory experience in an IT setting required.
    • Healthcare IT experience preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and wireless networking technologies required.
    • General understanding of Medicare and Medicaid; familiarity with EHR and telemedicine technology.
    • In-depth broad, general business know-how: finance, strategic planning, purchasing etc.
    • Strong customer service skills: demonstrated ability to anticipate customer needs and commitment to exceeding expectations.
    • Knowledge of health care compliance, including state and federal privacy laws, included but not limited to fraud & abuse laws and HIPAA.
    • Recommended privacy certification and/or other health care industry related credential.
    • In-depth emotional intelligence: behavioral maturity, demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, demonstrated self-awareness and accurate self-assessment; demonstrated ability to prevent, reduce, and resolve conflict; sensitivity and empathy, openness, reliability and consistency.
    • In-depth communication skills: demonstrated ability to present material orally or in writing in an articulate and concise manner; demonstrated ability to listen and process other's points of view.
    • In-depth leadership skills: coaching, team development, decision making and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts, perceive abstract, subtle and complex relationships and apply analytical thinking.
    • Computer proficiency with understanding of business, professional and industry related applications.
    • Demonstrated project management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities with demanding timeframes.
