Needed: Nanny who can help driving during the week and also stay overnight with the kids 10 days a month. Driving times will be after school starting around 4pm and ending at 8:00pm. Will include taking kids to after school activities, making dinner, and ensuring the kids get their chores done. Approximately 10 days per month, I have to travel out of town and will need an overnight nanny to stay the night and wake the kids up, and get the youngest off to school on the bus and drive the older one to lake travis high school with drop off at around 8:15. Son will be in Athletics and will need to be driven early some mornings as well (around 7am I think, not sure). There are several errands that will need to be done to keep the household running as well. In past years we have had different people doing different tasks, but this year I would like to find someone who can do it all. I am open to discussions, but I am thinking a salary of $3,000 a month. Some weeks will be 20ish hours per week and other weeks will be quite a bit more. The $3,000 per month would include the 10 overnight stays. I also reimburse for mileage on the car, .545 cents per mile. Kids are 12 and 14. Applicant must be smart and able to help with homework, energetic, a decent cook and able to keep things tidy, able to spend the night 10 nights a month, have reliable transportation, be able to manage the kids and ensure they get their chores done and that the kids get done what they need to get done. Be reasonably tech savvy, we keep the calendar for the kids activities online and much of what is communicated will be via online. Would like the person to have some household management type skills as well. We live off Hudson Bend Road so prefer someone in the Lakeway/Hudson Bend/Bee Cave/FourPoints area. Experience with teenage kids is a plus. This job will start August 15th, 2018 - May 31, 2019.
