    ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES CONSULTANT

    Are you a highly organized, self-motivated, and success driven individual? Do you have experience within the Civil Engineering, Land Survey, or GIS industries? Would you like to service a territory in your company provided vehicle where most nights you are able to sleep at home (less than 5% overnight travel)? Would you prefer to work out of your home office? If the above sounds like you, our client has an immediate need for a Sales Consultant / Account Manager to join its team. Our client is the premiere provider of Trimble surveying products for land surveying in the middle New York region. The epicenter of the territory is Albany, NY.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SALES CONSULTANT / ACCOUNT MANAGER

    In this high visibility role, your primary focus of the Sales Consultant / Account Manager will be visiting customers in the field to understand their survey and mapping needs while demonstrating solutions in the designated region through the following responsibilities:

    • Actively manage customer relationships and uncover opportunities through meticulous planning and consistent sales process through daily travel and repeatable contact.
    • Uncover customer needs, provide demonstrations and recommend solutions towards achieving sales goals.
    • Create and maintain strong working relationships with strategic accounts in your region while providing first level of support along with sales.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SALES CONSULTANT / ACCOUNT MANAGER

    • Experience in survey/mapping or AEC industries is preferred, sales experience a bonus
    • OUR CLIENT WILL SERIOUSLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE SURVEY, GIS OR CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY SPACE WHO DO NOT HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE BUT HAVE THE DESIRE TO MOVE INTO A SALES / ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE AND ENJOY WORKING WITH CLIENTS.
    • Proficient in Sales CRM, Excel, Outlook and Teams preferred.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Proven in meeting and exceeding sales goals (or the ability to do so).
    • Frequent local travel required within Eastern Pennsylvania region (up to 2 to 3 hours depending where you live).
    • Must be self-driven, self-motivated and enjoy working independently

    OTHER - enjoy a competitive base salary, guaranteed draw, and a generous commission plan. Total cash compensation for this role is in the $90k to 125k range (first year). Our client has established Sales Consultants in other regions making $150k+. The Sales Consultant / Account Manager will also be provided a company vehicle, cell phone, laptop and any other equipment needed to run a successful remote office. Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc. are also provided.
