    Our client is a business-to-business marketing agency with a proven track record of helping great companies get the results they deserve. They are currently looking to add a Web Project Manager to their team.

    You will have a proven track record of developing realistic project plans and pro-actively managing scope to coordinate the rollout of technical web projects on time, on budget, and with high-quality standards. You know how to build strong client relationships and deliver value.

    You thrive in the fast-paced agency environment, where priorities can change quickly. You know how to adapt your approach when working with people from different disciplines, and you love the details while never losing sight of the overall project objectives.

You draw energy from taking on new projects and challenges and know how to position project management as a value-add to our clients.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Manage multiple concurrent web projects with varying complexity in a fast-paced agency environment.

    • Collaborate with our internal team to develop project plans, assign project tasks and timelines to meet the needs of our clients while balancing the workload of our internal team.

    • Understand the flow of web projects and foster collaboration between agency team members by involving them at the right time and place.

    • Translate our client's business requirements into a project brief and a technical work back schedule.

    • Conduct client reviews and manage scope pro-actively; you know what matters to our clients when you need to communicate out-of-scope features in a problem-solving and client-centered way.

    • Able to work independently or with the team to estimate effort and cost for new project work.

    • Expand the use of our project management tools (Asana), and introduce new tools to ensure project management processes and communication can be delivered as streamlined as possible.

    • You are a self-starter, pick up new technologies quickly and love to share your knowledge with the team.

    What you bring:

    • 5+ years of project management experience managing web technology projects in a busy agency environment. You understand user experience, creative design, development, QA, analytics, and SEO/SEM.

    • Experience with design, implementation, and customization of complex websites and apps, and the coordination of post-launch support activities

    • Experience in planning and organizing your work and your team while juggling competing and changing priorities.

    • Hands-on experience with project methodologies such as SDLC, PMP, Agile; and experience with leveraging the agile software development techniques in an agency environment.

    • A strong track record with various project management and collaboration tools and leveraging them in an agency environment (especially Asana).

    • You excel at communicating complexities in a simple language, whether dealing with marketers, techies, designers, or directors

    • Ability to easily demonstrate and exhibit project methodologies and strategies to team members as well as clients using communication and project management tools.

    • You have a sense of humour, a collegial approach, and a passion for client service

    Must have skills and certifications:

    • MS Office Suite proficiency

    • In-depth working knowledge in Asana

    • PMP, Agile and/or CSM certification or training

    • Sufficient working literacy to manage a client conversation with:

      • technical concepts such as HTML / CSS / JavaScript,

      • version control,

      • back-end vs front-end development

    • Demonstrated experience working with long term sprint-based technical projects

    Great to have experience:

    • Familiarity with other project management and scheduling tools

    • Familiarity with ‘web-adjacent’ topics such as accessibility, privacy/cookie regulations, SEO, email marketing and analytics/reporting

    • Familiarity with web-based CMS platforms and marketing technology such as Hubspot, Pardot, Salesforce
