About the Role

This is a hands-on accounting role with real visibility into how a growing business operates. You will work directly alongside ownership across a portfolio of companies in beverage CPG, brand incubation, distribution, and wholesale, including Savia USA, SmartBrands USA, and Xpress Distributors.

What You Will Do

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and merchant accounts monthly across multiple entities

Maintain accurate books in Zoho Books and QuickBooks, including journal entries, AP, AR, and GL upkeep

Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment runs

Track intercompany transactions and assist with month-end close

Support sales tax filings, 1099 prep, and year-end close coordination with our outside CPA

Maintain organized digital records for all transactions

Flag discrepancies and propose process improvements

Help build and refine internal accounting workflows as we scale

What We Are Looking For

2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience

Working proficiency in both Zoho Books and QuickBooks

Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and basic GAAP

Ability to reconcile accounts independently and close books monthly

Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple entities at once

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Bonus Points If You Have

Multi-entity bookkeeping experience

Inventory accounting background

Experience in beverage, food CPG, distribution, or wholesale

Salary of $55,000 to $62,000 based on experience
