JA-Rocky Mountain is part of the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. In partnership with schools, businesses, foundations, other non-profits, and individuals this regional operation provides programs to students Kindergarten through 12th grade and young adults up to age 25 in Northern Colorado and Wyoming. Position Description
Reporting to the District Senior Director for Northern Colorado & Wyoming, this position is responsible for managing all program requests and volunteer matching in order to effectively implement JA programs in Northern Colorado. The ideal candidate will be passionate about JA’s mission, and have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain communication with educators
Manage all JA program registrations
Manage volunteer registration system
Enter classroom information into JA’s customer management system
Send program confirmation emails to educators
Send educator and volunteer connection emails
Send JA In A Day confirmation emails
Provide mid-way check-ins for traditional JA programs
Manage program audits
Participate in regularly scheduled program calls
Assist with program kit orders and deliveries, volunteer trainings, and event logistics (JA Stock Market Challenge and JA Bowl-A-Thon)
Provide help with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Ability to communicate the effectiveness of JA programming
Competency working with spreadsheets and data management systems
Ability to manage details of projects, programs, and events
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Goal-oriented and will thrive under pressure
Self-motivated and self-directed
Experience in program management, business sales, or related field
Passion for JA’s mission demonstrated by volunteerism and/or previous work experience
Ability to pass required background check

Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly salary range for this position is $20.00-$24.00. The salary will be commensurate with skill level and applicable experience.

Work Considerations for Part-Time Employment:
This position is part-time and should not exceed 1,000 hours per year.
This position aligns to the standard academic calendar, approximately August-May with reduced hours in the summer.
The position entails 20-25 hrs/wk unless approved for additional hours.
Hours are expected to occur between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00p.m.
