We're looking for a motivated, compassionate, and committed junior associate attorney to add to our thriving estate planning, probate, and business law practice. There is a ton of opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute. Responsibilities: • Conducting initial consultations and devising strategies • Delegating work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitoring their work • Preparing documents for estate plans • Leading and participating in final meetings with clients • Drafting, drafting, drafting • Assist with marketing by networking, writing articles, and conducting speaking engagements • Must use Oxford Comma and pay great attention to detail in the spelling of names of team members and clients Qualifications: Our preferred candidate: • Is an active member of the State Bar of Texas • No experience in estate planning is necessary • Has the capacity to handle cases and clients independently (after an extensive period of orientation, training, and monitoring work) • Shows compassion when dealing with clients and has a talent for winning their confidence and respect • Someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity and to grow with a thriving practice • Is willing to work hard to see that clients receive top-notch service and results • We are looking for someone who has character, intelligence, and integrity, and someone who contributes positively to the atmosphere within the office • No one who takes themselves too seriously or thinks that scanning a document is beneath them and will wash their own coffee cup • Someone who believes in civil rights and equality for all Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly
