Junior Associate – Eviction & Housing Law
Location: Serving King & Snohomish Counties
We’re hiring a Junior Associate Attorney to join a client-centered firm focused on eviction and housing law. This role is ideal for a licensed attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience, particularly those who have appeared in court and want to gain more trial exposure while working on high-impact cases.
The firm serves both landlords and tenants, with a focus on compliance, respect, and fairness, recognizing the serious impact housing matters have on people’s lives and livelihoods. Prior experience in property management, landlord-tenant law, or real estate is preferred but not required.
This is a hands-on opportunity to build meaningful litigation experience early in your legal career. You’ll work directly with senior attorneys in a flat, collaborative organization that emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and practical learning.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Represent landlords and tenants in eviction cases, including hearings, motions, and occasional trials
- Meet with clients to understand their circumstances and provide clear legal advice
- Draft legal documents (pleadings, motions, responses) — training and templates provided
- Stay current on relevant housing laws, including just cause eviction, security deposit statutes, HB 1217, and HB 1337
- Manage your caseload with support from a shared legal server and structured systems
- Participate in weekly case review meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
- Build relationships with clients, court staff, and community partners
- Attend local trade fairs and networking events as part of business development efforts
- Mentor interns and support volunteers when needed
- Identify recurring legal issues and help shape creative, practical solutions

Compensation: $75k - $105k + revenue share bonus (DOE)
