Job Summary:
Sun Holdings is seeking a Junior Attorney to join our growing legal team. This entry-level legal role will provide direct support across corporate, franchise, and real estate matters. Reporting to senior legal counsel, the Junior Attorney will assist with reviewing and drafting contracts, managing compliance documentation, conducting legal research, and supporting transactions. The ideal candidate is a recent law graduate or early-career attorney who is eager to gain broad exposure across corporate law, franchise operations, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
As a Junior Attorney, you will assist with drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, leases, and corporate agreements. You will conduct legal research to support compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations across multiple brands. This role will support the legal team with real estate transactions, franchise documentation, and risk management initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal departments—including finance, HR, compliance, and operations—as well as outside counsel and regulatory agencies. Additionally, you’ll help maintain legal files, track deadlines, and prepare summaries and reports for senior counsel and executive leadership.
What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active bar admission (Texas preferred, or ability to waive in/obtain admission promptly).
1–2 years of experience practicing law, with exposure to corporate, real estate, franchise, or compliance law preferred (internships and clerkships considered).
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professionalism in client interactions.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.
