    Junior CNC Machinist

    We are seeking an eager, action oriented, and disciplined Junior CNC Machinist (JCM) who is ready to grow their skills in machining to a higher level.

    The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Working at a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work to meet exacting customer standards is very important to this role. A high level of motivation and the ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them is required to be successful in this role.

    Reports To: Production Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    •Operate CNC mills and/or lathes following established procedures

    •Load and unload parts and materials safely

    •Perform basic machine startups and shutdowns

    •Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

    •Identify and report quality issues or machine abnormalities

    •Make basic offset adjustments as trained

    •Assist with tool changes and machine setup under supervision

    •Follow work instructions, blueprints, and shop documentation

    •Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S)

    •Follow all safety policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    •0–2 years of CNC or manufacturing experience

    •High school diploma or equivalent required

    •Technical school or machining coursework preferred but not required

    •Basic understanding of CNC machining concepts

    •Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring tools

    •Willingness to learn CNC programming, setup, and advanced machining skills

    •Strong attention to detail and reliability

    •Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

    Working Conditions

    •Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods.

    •Regular lifting of materials and tooling components up to 50 lbs.

    •Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around stamping presses and fabrication equipment.
