At Tallgrass Title, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service with a personal touch. Tallgrass Title is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Closing Agent to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing the middle stages of real estate transactions, ensuring each closing is accurate, compliant, and seamless for clients. You’ll prepare and process deed and loan documents, handle payoff requests and vendor invoices, and guide both cash and financed transactions from start to finish. This is generally a one year training position to work toward a Closing Agent position. Completion of the Title Producer test and obtaining a Title Insurance Producer license is required for advancement. Advancement is not required for this position but an option to further your career with our company. Responsibilities: • Understand all contracts, commitments, and lender and escrow instructions to assure completion for a timely escrow close • Prepare closing documents such as settlement statements, escrow files, and closing statements • Prepare, review, and process closing documents to ensure completeness before signing. • Coordination with lenders and realtors to ensure all invoices and fees are applied to settlement statements, resulting in accurate and smooth closings. • Schedule signing appointments with Sellers, Buyers, Realtors, Lenders and sometimes Attorneys involved in the transaction. • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues before, during, or after closing. • Submit documents for recording and ensure proper finalization of documents. • Maintain organized and compliant records of all closing documentation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, lenders, and industry partners to support continued business growth. • All other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Prior experience in title, escrow, real estate, or mortgage transactions is preferred but not required. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on accuracy and compliance. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders. • Ability to manage high-volume transactions while ensuring efficiency and attention to detail. • Ability to learn closing software. Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
