Junior Commodities Trader

Our client is seeking to hire a recent college graduate, 2024/2025 interested in getting their foot in the door of a reputable trading shop. This position is fully onsite 5days per week. We are seeking candidates with degrees in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Logistics. The compensation for this role is $55K - $65K base + bonus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market dynamics, supply chain prospects, and pricing approaches to support revenue growth.
• Develop and sustain strong partnerships with existing and potential clients and suppliers.
• Oversee the full sales cycle for physical commodity deals, including negotiating contracts, executing transactions, and coordinating logistics.
• Act as a company representative at industry events, conferences, and meetings to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless trade execution, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience (commodities exposure is a plus, not required).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to interpret complex market data, evaluate financial risk, and formulate trading strategies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
