The opportunity: The Jr. Developer improves and implements technical solutions. This role leverages technical expertise in database applications, C#, ETL processes, and automation in support of internal and external customer's data exchange and integration needs. How you will contribute:
• Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Code Review and Testing: Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure code quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring smooth operation of applications.
• Implement Best Practices: Follow and promote best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and agile methodologies.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed software.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as needed or required. What you will bring with you:
• BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years as a C# developer in support of application software
• Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and highly desirable - Informatica, and XML.
• Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (SQL Server, Structured Query Language)
• Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
• Experience with encounters or claims, business analysis experience in healthcare, preferably managed care or Medicaid is a plus.
• Experience with knowledge of dental or medical insurance claims processing is a plus, including:
o Hands on experience with HIPAA X12 EDI transaction formats including: 277, 835, 837, 997, 999, TA1
o Familiarity with appropriate handling of PHI data
• Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary
