Benefits & Perks - Unlimited PTO - Hybrid work environment - Comprehensive medical, disability, and life insurance with employer contribution - Firm-paid CLEs and annual family law conference attendance - Significant bonus opportunities based on billable hours and origination - Opportunity to bring an existing paralegal, subject to mutual fit and interview process - Quarterly team-building events and firm-sponsored activities - Collaborative team of experienced family law professionals Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse family law caseload involving divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and property division matters • Maintain organized case files, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with court procedures and firm standards • Advocate for clients in emotionally sensitive situations while pursuing practical and effective resolutions • Develop case strategies, evaluate legal risks, and provide practical recommendations aligned with client goals • Conduct legal research and analyze Colorado statutes, case law, and procedural rules to support litigation and settlement strategies • Draft and review pleadings, motions, parenting plans, financial disclosures, settlement agreements, and other family law documents • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing compassionate guidance and timely updates throughout the legal process • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and outside experts to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations while advocating for their legal and personal interests Qualifications: • Must reside within the Denver Metropolitan Area and be available for court appearances and client meetings as required • Strong understanding of Colorado family law, including divorce, child custody, support, parenting time, and property division issues • Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience representing clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and contested family law proceedings • Proven ability to draft legal documents, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements with accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Colorado Bar • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active cases in a deadline-driven environment • Minimum of 4 years of family law experience handling domestic relations matters Compensation: $120,000 - $175,000 yearly
