Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Groomer or Highly Skilled Bather/Brusher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and basic trim services to pets, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

Face, feet and sanitary trims

Basic outline trims

Safely restrain animals during bathing and grooming processes.

Inspect pets for any signs of health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff.

Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, grooming tools, and equipment.

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs.

Assist in handling pets during check-in and check-out processes.

Support the overall operations of the facility by performing additional tasks as needed.

Skills

Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.

Experience in animal handling, particularly with various breeds of dogs.

Knowledge of pet grooming practices, including proper use of deshed tools, blow dryer, Dremel, nail clippers, hair clippers and scissors.

Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor around animals.
